Historical keyword volume july

I perform monthly monitoring of the historical google keyword volumes in order to optimize my campaigns. Sadly the historical volumes only reach until June 2025. Any idea when the historical volumes of the month July are available? This helps me optimizing my campaigns during the busy summer months.

Based on the information provided, I understand that you are trying to retrieve the historical metrics using the GenerateKeywordHistoricalMetrics method from August 2024 to August 2025 but you are unable to retrieve the data for the July, 2025 and looking for guidance in understanding the issue. We have tried to make the API call using the same request body as you have provided and could see we are also unable to get the July, 2025 data from the results. When comparing the data, it's essential to verify that the information retrieved from the API is also present within the Google Ads user interface. This is because the API only pulls data that exists in the UI. In other words, if a specific data point, such as a campaign, ad group, or keyword, isn't visible in your Google Ads account, it won't be accessible through the API either. This ensures that the data you're analyzing is consistent across both platforms.

Note that you are unable to retrieve data for a specific period, such as July 2025, through the API, it's because that data is not yet available in the Google Ads UI's Keyword Planner. It doesn't allow you to select the July, 2025 month's data in the Google Ads UI. This is a normal part of the data update process. Search volume metrics are updated monthly, typically reflecting the previous month's search volume, similar to how data is released on Google Trends. I would recommend you to refer to this documentation for more information. To confirm this, you can navigate to the Keyword Planner in your Google Ads UI and attempt to select the July 2025 data range. You will find that this option is not available. Once the July 2025 data becomes visible and selectable within the Google Ads UI, you can then try to retrieve it using the API. If you encounter any discrepancies between the data retrieved from the Google Ads UI and the Google Ads API, then you can reach out to us for further assistance.
