TrueView in-stream in-display ad formats

Hi,

It might have been asked before so I apologize in advance, but I would like to know what is the dimension in the API which contains the values which point on TrueView formats.

For example, I would like to know if this is 'in-stream' or 'in-display' ad format.

Hi Jenia,

When running reports, you can use the field AdNetworkType1 or AdNetworkType2 to get the TrueView formats. The value YOUTUBE_SEARCH is associated with in-stream and YOUTUBE_WATCH is for in-display.

I was able to pull AdNetworkType2 successfully but ran into the following error message while trying to pull AdNetworkType1:

Can you share some insights on it?

Also it would be great if you could explain the difference between AdNetworkType1 and AdNetworkType2 since both contain the same type of values.

Hey Jenia,

The difference between AdNetworkType1 and AdNetworkType2 is that AdNetworkType2 includes search partners with Google. 

As far as the error you are getting, could you please send me the report definition you are using via reply privately to author? All reports that are compatible with AdNetworkType2 are also compatible with AdNetworkType1, so I will need to see what is causing this error.
