Google Ads API Linking manager to client account

Hello,

I've been trying to wrap my head around how the linking to manager accounts works.  I have studied document https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/account-management/linking-manager-accounts.

Does the following send an invitation to the clients email address of the client account we want to link with?

How does the managerLinkResourceName fit in?

What is returned when the client accepts the invitation?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. Once the manager account extends an invitation to the client customer account via CustomerClientLinkService, the client customer account owner would be able to see the invitation on the Google Ads UI. The CustomerManagerLink resource_name would be customers/{customer_id}/customerManagerLinks/{manager_customer_id}~{manager_link_id}. This could be returned when the client customer account issues a call to accept the invitation.
