Hello

Is there any restrictions about sending concurrent Google Ads API requests to mutate location targeting for several campaigns at the same time?

Considering that we are using the same API credentials for several Google Ads accounts.

Shall we allow a delay between each API request? if yes, how to estimate the right delay?

Thanks
- Samir

Hi Samir,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Moving forward to this, “Is there any restrictions about sending concurrent Google Ads API requests to mutate location targeting for several campaigns at the same time?

-The Google Ads API enforces limits on API operations, such as the number of operations that can be sent in a single mutate request, kindly check this documentation to see the API Limits and Quotas.

In addition, please note that sending too many requests in a short period of time can cause a RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error. That being said, I would agree that you set up short delays between requests or combine more operations in fewer requests. You may check this documentation for more details.

And for this, “Shall we allow a delay between each API request? if yes, how to estimate the right delay?
- Yes, as like what I mentioned above, you may set up short delays between requests. You may also refer to this documentation for you to decide the right delay to use as it also states the limitations of each request.
