How Long to Approve API Account

Hi all,

Last week I applied for an AdWords API account, but it is still showing as 'pending approval'.

Does anyone know how long this usually takes? I was under the impression it would be around 48 hours.

I used to have an API account set up, so thought it would be quick and easy to approve.
