Hi,

There was a recent announcement stating Youtube URLs will no longer be return in the URL Performance Report.  Is there another way to call the Adwords or new Ads API to see campaign performance by YouTube video URL?

Reading over both Adwords API documentation and the new Ads API we have been unable to find a suitable replacement.

Hi Philip,

You may use Placement Performance Report instead (as the blog post only specifies Url Performance Report) to see youtube video placements performance aggregated at the placement level. To include youtube placements in the report, add a predicate "AdNetworkType1 IN [YOUTUBE_SEARCH, YOUTUBE_WATCH]" to your request.

Let me know if this is what you're looking for or if you have further concerns.

Thanks,
Luis

Hi Luis,

Thanks for the response.

When we tried the Placement Performance report are not able to get back the Youtube Videos that were served to. In the report managed placements are returned at the channel level (we almost exclusively target channel placements).

Automatic placements in the report generically come back as "youtube.com" for both Placement and DisplayName attributes. Is there a way to run this report to get back the Youtube Video ID?

Hi Philip,

The youtube video Id is not supported in this report type. However, it is possible to retrieve the youtube Id in the Video Performance Report via VideoId field. This report summarizes statistics by videos in your campaign.

Let me know if this is what you're looking for or if you have further concerns.

Thanks,
Luis
