Did I mess up? Getting API access

My developers asked me to get access to the Adwords API. I signed up using my existing MCC account, and seemed simple.

However, after reading something, it mentioned that I should not my existing email assigned to my account...

Will this cause issues? I would hate to be attacked by lightsabers again...

Also, any idea how long approvals take?

Hey Mike,

I do not think you need to worry. What that means is that when you sign up for an AdWords account, you should not use the same email associated to your MCC account. Also, if you try to sign up for an MCC account with an email that already exists in another account, you will not be allowed to.
