Receiving CustomerError.UNKNOWN failures

Hi all,

since this morning, we've been receiving (very) sporadic "CustomerError.UNKNOWN" API errors. They don't seem to be documented anywhere—should we just retry?

Could you please send me the SOAP request and response that shows this issue while using AdWords API? Please use reply privately to author when responding.

Hi Joyce,

thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately we don't have SOAP logging enabled on production systems for efficiency reasons. We'll try to reproduce the error using full logging, but as it's quite sporadic I can't promise that we'll manage to do so.

Hi Dorian,

I would need to see the SOAP logs to check the case. If the case is sporadic, then you may just retry the calls but if it appears to be frequent, please send me the logs showing the issue to check it.
