Is there a way to download all "Search terms" and "Destination urls" for shopping campaigns? Similar to KEYWORDLESS_QUERY_REPORT but for shopping. I cannot seem to find dest.urls. of click on shopping ads :(

I know there were some topics about this about 1.5 years ago. Are there any new possibilities?

Hi,

Unfortunately, AdWords API does not support returning the destination Url or Query for shopping campaigns in the reports.

Please check out our blog regarding any updates to this feature.

Hello Anthony,

Thanks for swift response.

I see there is no single report to get all the data. But is there another way. Like first downloading queries and joining them with criterions. Or some other way? Maybe using Analytics data? Maybe getting query + item id, which can be joined?

Any 'out of the box' ideas, Anthony? I (and many more people) would really appreciate it :)

Thanks again!

Regards,

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to get the search terms as far as I know. However, you can use the Product Partition Report to get final Urls since the destination Urls are deprecated. You can use this report if your interest is in a product partition (criterion level), not a product level (OfferId).

Hi!

FinalUrls are empty in the PRODUCT_PARTITION_REPORT. Also CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT has no Final URLs for shopping campaigns. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

  1. Can you get FinalUrls in any of the reports for shopping?
  2. Is there any way to get landing pages which were clicked in shopping campagins? Even without the keywords?
  3. Is Google working on getting FinalUrls in SEARCH_QUERY_PERFORMANCE_REPORT reports (for shopping)?

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Hope all is well.
  1. Can you get FinalUrls in any of the reports for shopping?
  1. Final Urls are available through the Product Partition Report.
  1. Is there any way to get landing pages which were clicked in shopping campagins? Even without the keywords?
  1. There does not appear to be a way to get the landing pages of shopping campaigns.
  1. Is Google working on getting FinalUrls in SEARCH_QUERY_PERFORMANCE_REPORT reports (for shopping)?
  1. Unfortunately, I cannot say whether or not Final Urls will be available for shopping campaigns in the Search Query Performance Report, but please check our blog regarding any announcements.

Hey Anthony,

Thanks for the answers. I understand point 2 and 3 - I will be patient.

But point 1 seems not to work. I always get empty FinalUrls.

Hey Dennis,

Could you please reply privately to author your report definition you tried using to get the final Urls?

Thanks,

Hi Dennis,

When you say core api, what exactly do you mean?

I mean not using AdHoc reporting, but real api Services, like https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201509/AccountLabelService

Hello Dennis,

Thanks for the clarification. No, there isn't a way of getting that information from the other AdWords API services. Any data collected as a result of the click would be in the reports section. All the other services are more for setup of campaigns rather than results. I do like your tactic of thinking outside the box, though.
