How to get all locations?

Nimcy asks how to download all location and is recommended to use the Geotargets table at

https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/geotargeting

However, the German city "Köln", for instance, is listed under its English name "cologne". Even places

that don't have a dedicated English name are often spelled the wrong way due to the file being ASCII-only.

That way, the list is basically not useful outside English-speaking countries.

We really need a proper version of the location data.

Hi Jens, 

You are right, in the Geotargets table, all the names are changed to match the ASCII standard for that location. Please check this forum post for a very similar discussion. I will pass on your feedback to the team to see if it is possible to expose the location name as it is. You can keep an eye on our blog for updates and announcements about the future releases.
