Does API provide longer lookback window for metrics than the UI

Hello Google Ads team - 

I noticed UI only provides 24 months of data and I am considering using GAQL if I can get longer lookback windows such as lifetime campaign metrics. 

Can you tell me how far back I can retrieve data at hourly / daily grain for campaign metrics?

Hi Alexi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you would like to know about the look back window to fetch the metrics via the Google Ads API.

Kindly note that you can fetch the metrics from the time you created the account until the current date in the UI using the "All time" option while filtering with the date. But, via the API, you can only fetch metrics that are not older than 2 years.
