Adwords not able to attach to CRM Based User list to Display Campaign

After creating a crm user list, when I tried attaching to a display campaign, it throws an error 'INCOMPATIBLE'

Hi Archit,

To confirm, you are seeing 'INCOMPATIBLE' error in Google Ads UI? If yes, then display campaign is not compatible with the crm user list. Please refer to 'List type compatibility' section in this guide. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Is this a recent change?
I was able to do this up until a week ago.

What are the alternatives? How can I load in my first party data?

Hi Archit,

This functionality has not changed recently. Can you please share the display campaign id for which you were able to set the CRM user list so that I can troubleshoot the issue? For Display campaigns, the only option at the campaign level for CriterionUserList is to exclude those criteria. For more information please refer to this guide. You can use 'Replay privately to author' option while responding.
