can we get api for column description? 

By columns description, i mean pop up texts when I mouse over question mark beside the column.

Hi,

If you are looking for column/field descriptions of the different fields supported in the AdWords API, then you may refer to this documentation for more information. Please note however that the field descriptions are available only in the link I provided and are not returned when using any of the services or downloading reports of the AdWords API. Please also note that the fields and their descriptions as seen in the link I provided are not 100% similar to those of the AdWords UI.

You may want to check out ReportDefinitionService which gives information of fields in AdWords API reports - I use that for a small experimenting program. It contains most properties of the report fields, like name, type, enum values etc.
