Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

As per this guide (see UserInterestInfo), it states that :

When retrieving UserInterest to set in UserInterestInfo, verify the availabilities[] are compatible with the campaign type. Some UserInterest options are only available for specific campaign types.

That said, could you confirm if you have performed the above recommendation? In addition, could you also confirm where you were able to acquire the user_interest:id_1116 that you used?

Should the issue persist and so our team can also investigate further, could you provide the complete request and response logs, with the request-id? If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

I got a json from report query and it shows:
"user_interest": {
                "launched_to_all": true,
                "user_interest_parent": "customers/2110705600/userInterests/1116",
                "name": "Film & TV Awards",
                "resource_name": "customers/2110705600/userInterests/1108",
                "user_interest_id": 1108,
                "taxonomy_type": "VERTICAL_GEO"
            }
It seems to be useful to all campaign type.

Hi there,

Could you provide us with logs of request and response to the API so that we can see this error that you are seeing?

If you are using the Ads API, the request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST documentation. Our client libraries have loggers with logging instructions, to see these instructions you can click on the client library you use in the sidebar of our client library guide and click on "Logging".

If you are using the AdWords API , then a request looks like the 3rd section in request and a response looks similar to response. Logging instructions are in the read.me on Github of each client library.

When setting the logger to 'DEBUG' you can see the requested logs.
