Hi.

We recently had a use-case where the campaign serving status was "SUSPEND", and it turned out that it was because the account status was suspended. We'd like to be able to discover that faster in the future, so a couple of questions that would help us better:

* Could campaign get to "SUSPEND" serving status for any reason other than account being suspended?
* Do you have an exhaustive list of campaign serving statuses, and what they mean?

Thank you
Danilo

Sorry, but the question is not why the account is suspended, it is in fact how to work with the Google Ads API and the technical implementation, so I think that the question was asked on the proper channel.

Hi,

Could you confirm whether you are facing any issues while integrating the Google Ads API ? Also, confirm, whether you have set up a Google API Console project and enabled the Google Ads API in your project? If yes, I would recommend you to refer to the  following documents:

I would suggest you to check this introductory guide to know more information regarding the details that you should have to make a Google Ads API call. You may check these guide Make an API call.

Hope this helps, If you have any more queries related to Google Ads API, please feel free to get back to us.

Thanks, The Google Ads API Team.

I do not face any issues while integrating the Google Ads API at the moment. Please refer to my original 2 questions.  It is about the behavior of the Google Ads API and campaign serving status 'SUSPENDED', when can I expect it? If I see campaign status 'SUSPENDED' again, can I assume that it is because the account is suspended, or could there be another root cause? And the second question, if there is a documentation related to campaign service statuses and what each of its values mean.
Thank you
Danilo

Hi,

Please refer to the help center article for detailed information about campaign statuses. In general, the campaign status refers to the status you have directly assigned to the campaign, while the serving status is determined by specific circumstances (such as budget limitations). If you need more assistance on this distinction, I would request you to share the Google Ads customer ID to further investigate the issue.
