Inconsistent Network field values

Hi Google Team!

We use the GAQL to retrieve AdGroup performance data and we are running into the following issues: 

For a given campaign, the Network property  ( segments.ad_network_type ) is returning back different values even for the same dates: sometimes is a value 2 (SEARCH), or sometimes is a value 2 (SEARCH_PARTNERS)  we are using this metric since the migration, with Google AdWords API we would use AdNetworkType1 and we would usually have the same value for a single campaign across a window of time.

Other campaigns are being labeled as CONTENT or SEARCH. 

Can you explain if this is expected behavior or is it something that needs to be fixed at the API level? Or maybe we are using the wrong field?

With regard to your concern, so our team can better check this concern, could you provide screenshot of the problem that you have encountered and the complete Ads API logs (request and response with request-id) to further investigation on this?
