Hi API Team, 

I am working on Google Ads API V1.0 using .net client library and a test account . 

API calls was working fine . Now I am getting below mentioned error when I make a create customer api call or any get api call. e.g get customer API call. 

StatusCode=ResourceExhausted, Detail="Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota). Too many requests. Retry in 30035 seconds.

1. I tried to make API call after 12 hrs. But still I get the resource exhausted error. 

2. For last couple of weeks I have been working with GoogleAdsV1.0 API calls. I didn't get this resource exhausted error while creating a customer or setting up its campaigns. What is the cause of this error ?

Also I get page not found error for google doc to view google-ads/api/docs/common-errors 

Please help to resolve this issue.

Hello Priya,

Regarding the resource exhausted error, Could you please elaborate the scenario that you are trying? The RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error that you encountered means that a system frequency limit has been exceeded due to too many requests in a short period of time. I would suggest you to set up short delays between the requests or combine more operations in fewer requests. You can also follow the exponential backoff mechanism mentioned here.

I will let my team know regarding that 404 error in the documentation.

Hello!

I have the same problem as Priya: yesterday I've had a 429 error maybe linked to too many requests to the keyword planner. But when I launched it this morning I got the same error. How is that possible? Could you please remind what are the limits for the keyword planner?

Thank you for reaching out. You can check out this guide on operation limits in Google Ads API based on your token level. However, the QuotaCheckError.RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error generally occurs when you are sending too many requests in a short period of time. The server throws this error once it detects that your request has exceeded the system frequency limit. I would recommend to set up short delays between requests or combine more operations in fewer requests. Please refer to the Best practices guide to optimize the efficiency and performance.

If you are still having issues, please share the complete detailed request and response logs via reply privately to author so that I can further investigate the issue. You can find information on enabling logging under your client library.
