hi!

There is such a question:
Is there any other restriction on using the "BudgetOrderService" method besides the standard limits for a change or request?

And another question:
Do these daily limits apply to requests for only one client account, or apply to the entire developer account?

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Please find my answers to your questions below:

Is there any other restriction on using the "BudgetOrderService" method besides the standard limits for a change or request?
  • If you would like to use BudgetOrderService, you will have to use a whitelisted manager account.
Do these daily limits apply to requests for only one client account, or apply to the entire developer account?
  • The daily limits apply to the developer token account. For more information on system limits per client accounts, you may take a look at this documentation.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,
Danica Calusin, Google Ads API Team

Hi Danica!

Thanks for the answer!

I want to clarify a little.
We work with several accounts through api. And we would like to receive the balance of these accounts several times a day using the BudgetOrderService method.

Accordingly, are we limited only by these limits for requests per day or are there any other restrictions?

Thanks!

Hi,

The limits for the BudgetOrderService count towards the daily limits which you provided. If you run into operation limits frequently, I'd recommend applying for Standard access.

Anthony

Hi,

thanks for the answer!

Then there is such a question:

We work with more than 1000 accounts and we want to receive relevant information on the current budgets of these accounts. How then should we work with these limits?

Obviously, with the number of accounts more than 1000, we will not be able to get relevant information on budgets even once a day.

Thanks!

Hi,

Here are some Best Practices for using the API. These tips should help you with making API calls more efficiently. If you are going to be making a lot of calls for all these accounts, I'd recommend applying for Standard access.

Hi!

How can the standard access level help us if it has the same limit on 1000 get requests per day?
Or does the restriction on get requests not apply to the "BudgetOrderService" method?

Hello,

Having Standard access will give you unlimited operations per day.
