Moving forward, could you confirm whether you are using the AdWords API or the Google Ads API? In addition, could you provide more details on the issue such as your current setup and what you meant by referral URL?
If you are referring to the auto-tagging feature, as discussed here, then you would first need to ensure that it is already enabled on the account.
