With regard on setting the values for PositiveGeoTargetType, please use the enum values specified in this
document instead, and not the numerical values. Try setting also the PositiveGeoTargetType of
GeoTargetTypeSetting.
For further information about '
Search interest: People searching for your targeted locations', this option is only available for
Search campaigns and lets you show your ads to anyone searching on Google for your targeted location. If a person doesn’t specify a location in their search, then the system uses the location where a user is likely to be located for targeting. This has been discussed on the this
document (
Reach people searching for your targeted locations (Search interest)).
As for the golang client library, you could try compiling Go libraries by running the protocol directly on the
Google Ads API’s protocol buffer source files. You can follow the instructions at
https://github.com/protocolbuffers/protobuf for Go to build these files.
If the error persists or you encounter any issues with this client library, then please post your concern
here as this is out of our scope. The author of the client library will provide guidance on how to address the issue related to this client library.
