query_error: FILTER_HAS_TOO_MANY_VALUES

Hi Google Ads Support Team,

We have a problem when we query for some of our customers a specific endpoint in the Google Ads API.

Endpoint: asset
Query: 

SELECT asset.id, asset.image_asset.full_size.url, asset.text_asset.text, asset.youtube_video_asset.youtube_video_id FROM asset WHERE asset.id in

(xxxxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxxxx,.....) we get error response: "query_error: FILTER_HAS_TOO_MANY_VALUES\", but we provide just 20 values.

We would appreciate your help.

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

You can refer to this section of our API limits and quotas guide for more information on the FILTER_HAS_TOO_MANY_VALUES error and its possible causes.

In the said section, it states that "When making a GAQL query, the maximum number of items within clause is 20,000. If you exceed that limit, a FILTER_HAS_TOO_MANY_VALUES error is returned.".

Can you send the complete GAQL along with the complete request and response with request-id. If you haven't enabled logging yet, please do so and it can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.
