I would like to inform you first that I am going to delete your initial post as it contains sensitive information. I just pasted the context of your concern below without the sensitive information: 

"We keep on getting UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR when calling getCustomers() when using a specific client's token. All other API calls using this token are coming through fine and the getCustomers() call is coming through fine using all of our other clients' tokens.

This error keeps on occurring over the past 24 hours. We also asked the client to re-authorize access, which generated a new token, but the error persists.

There are plenty of requests, but one example is request ID: redacted ."

Moving forward, did you try use CustomerService in Google Ads API to get list of customers?

Please note that the Adwords API is deprecated, and almost about to be sunset, so it is unlikely we will investigate or fix issues in it at this point. We strongly recommend that you migrate to the Google Ads API as soon as possible.

To help in your migration, I suggest you to refer to this documentation guide and let us know if you have any concerns while using Google Ads API.

Noted about the request ID, we were unaware of the sensitive nature of this field.

We are aware of the Ads API as well as the sunset schedule. We're working tirelessly on migrating our software to the new API but we were counting on the AdWords API to be functional until the sunset date, especially since the client in question is one of the world's most well-known companies.

Until we're ready to redirect the request to the Ads API, is there anything else that could be done?

Hi,

We are experiencing the same issue for some of our clients.

The issue doesn't seem temporary, since yesterday every time we try the call to " https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/mcm/v201809/CustomerService" we consistently get the error:

[InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR @ com.google.ads.api.services.common.error.InternalApiError.<init>(InternalApiErro]  

While we understand that this endpoint will be sunsetting soon, We agree 100% with Outleads, that the api should be functional until the actual sunset date

Everybody is working hard on doing the migration, but we still need to provide continuous service to our mutual clients

I can reply in private with the example soap call and response if needed

I already raised the issue about the internal error to my team with the SOAP logs of the Outleads team. With this, so that we can also raise your issue to my team, then please also provide the complete SOAP request and response that generated on your end so we can see the error. With the help of your SOAP logs we can determine if there's a common reason why this error occuring.

You can provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsapi-support@google.com alias instead.
