Incorrect ad_group_criterion.display_name with special character

Hey Ads Team,

It seems for one of the ad group criterion display name data is corrupted, and we want to understand why it's the case and what could be fix for this.

One of the product for which we are observing this has item id similar to this "Ù01234-5" but when we try to fetch its ad_group_criterion.display_name for a campaign from ad_group_criterion report. we receive the following string "custom0==random&+id==ٍ01234-5" which is not correct as the last "==" is not in the correct format and that special character "Ù" is no longer part of the string.

Could you please let us know, what caused this and the fix for same ?

Could you confirm if my understanding is correct that you are observing this item ID ("Ù01234-5") in Google Ads UI and this string ("custom0==random&+id==ٍ01234-5") when fetching the report? If yes, could you provide us the un-cropped UI screenshot along with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id) generated on your end showing the display name? This is so we could further investigate and provide appropriate assistance. 

If you haven't enabled logging yet, it can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation(via this link https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/best-practices/logging#client_library_logging), which you can access from this link. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag. 

You may then send the requested information privately via the Reply to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.
