Getting BudgetError.NON_MULTIPLE_OF_MINIMUM_CURRENCY_UNIT

Hi,

I have some queries related to Budget settings.

1) When I set  below budget it gives me error like this BudgetError.NON_MULTIPLE_OF_MINIMUM_CURRENCY_UNIT

budget = {

      'name': 'Test budget #%s' % uuid.uuid4(),

      'amount': {

          'microAmount': '10889671'

      },

      'deliveryMethod': 'STANDARD'

}

When i change the  'microAmount': '10000000' .It works.Does it need to be rounded off ?

2) Is   'microAmount': '10000000' means $10.00 per day ?How it is read ?

The following are answers to your questions,

1. BudgetError.NON_MULTIPLE_OF_MINIMUM_CURRENCY_UNIT occurred because if microAmount 10889671 converted to dollars it would be 10.889671 and the minimum unit is cent in the currency so you should round up the last four digits in the microAmount. You could refer to a full list of the MinimumUnit in different currencies.

2. As I mentioned in the first question, the microAmount with value of 10000000 can be converted into dollars if divided by 1000000 and the result would be $10.00.

Thanks for the clarification.Wanted to know when I set

Is  this budget for the campaign per day ? Assume respective budget is is used during campaign creation.

This budget is for the whole life cycle of the campaign which means it depends on the start date and end date of the campaign. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

How do I set budget per day?Is it possible to do it over the campaign level?
