Hi, I was developing with local campaigns and I have to ask a question,
when you need to choose what kind of localtion you want to publish your
campaign, I saw you need to set up in Campaign object the
local_campaign_setting parameter that contain location_source_type
paramer, and you can only set up 4 enums:
UNSPECIFIED
No value has been specified.
UNKNOWN
Used for return value only. Represents value unknown in this version.
GOOGLE_MY_BUSINESS
Locations associated with the customer's linked Business Profile.
AFFILIATE
Affiliate (chain) store locations. For example, Best Buy store locations.
But if I want to choose a specific adress that match with just one of my
locations, How can I pass ad adress of specify a single location?
There is the way to choose the location with an ID or an adress?

Hi Emanuele,
Thank you for reaching us out. I am Sherwin from Google Ads API support team. I hope that you are doing well today.
Moving forward to your concern, you may refer to this document regarding location extensions. There is a section there ( Filtering location extensions ) which mentions that the Location extensions are automatically applied to every campaign and ad group under the account by default. You can override the default behavior by applying location extensions to a specific ad group or campaign through filters.
Please let us know if this works for you.
Kind regards,
Sherwin Vincent

Hi,
Thank you for raising your concern.
You may try following this guide to connect to the Google Ads API through a proxy. If the error persists, since the issue seems client library related, I would suggest raising your concern to the author of the client library. They are more equipped to provide support here so please reach out to them via this link.

Hi SJ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API team. I hope you are doing well today.
Moving forward, regarding this, "Can you get successfully snippets code ??? " can I ask you to raise this issue with us so that you can get an answer to this forum case? If yes, one of my colleagues responded to that forum case and allowed me to reiterate his response. "Please note that the only field that can be used to extract tag snippets of the conversion action is the conversion_action.tag_snippets field. With this, I am afraid that there is no way to extract the value from the 'send_to' field alone. You will need to create a process on your end where you will separate the said value from the returned response of the API."
Let us know if you have further questions.

Hi there,
I'm trying to create new ad on low-code tools (zapier, make).
While creating AdGroup Ad there is an issue with 'headlines' field:
INVALID_ARGUMENT (400)
Invalid value at 'operations[0].create.ad.responsive_search_ad.headlines'
(type.googleapis.com/google.ads.googleads.v11.common.AdTextAsset), "test1"
In official api, I've noticed there's a code:
'headlines' => [
new AdTextAsset(['text' => 'Cruise to Mars']),
new AdTextAsset(['text' => 'Best Space Cruise Line']),
new AdTextAsset(['text' => 'Experience the Stars'])
],
Since I'm creating an asset in the previous step, I need to put certain
value in this (create ad) step.
What is the correct format of "new AdTextAsset(['text' => 'Cruise to
Mars']),"
I was trying the text value, an array (of texts) and a resourcename -
nothing works.
Thanks in advance!

In other words - what is the correct format for REST API request?

Hi,
Thank you for reaching us out. I am Sherwin from Google Ads API support team. I hope that you are doing well today.
Since your main concern is the correct format for REST API request, you may check this documentation for AdTextAsset. You may also check these sample codes for creating Responsive Search ads.

Hello,
This is Carmela from the Google Ads API team. Thank you for reaching out.
Moving forward, as mentioned in this documentation, kindly note you can't turn off or turn on automated extensions using the Google Ads API. This is done through the Google Ads UI.

Hi,
Thank you for raising your concern. Allow me to provide support.
Upon checking, I can confirm that the ListAccessibleCustomers method will be counted on the 1,000 daily limit of the developer token. If you want to get the accounts where your authenticated user has been added with admin or other rights in the account, then ListAccessibleCustomers is the only method that you can use. However, if you want to get the accounts under the hierarchy of an MCC account, then I can suggest using the customer_client report.
Let me know if you have further questions.
