So my Scenario is that a User joined my App via OAuth and I've their refresh token. I can list their accessible clients and Managed Clients but I can't know what access level that token has on each account. Is it Read Only Access, Administrator access etc ?

Assume that User AAA signed up on my App via OAuth and I've their refresh token.

I can list their accounts assume as below

Account-A (111-111-111) personal account.
Account-B (222-222-222) Invited by some other account as Read Only Access Level

How I can know via API that a refresh_token has Readonly Access on Account. 222-222-222

Can someone guide to me an API ? or example from any language if its possible ?

Regards,

-Ahsan

Hi Ahsan,

I'm afraid it's not possible to determine the access level of the user who authenticated the API request. You could consider the suggestion provided in this thread for a similar question.

Hello Peter,

Thanks you for fast reply, ahh,,, somehow I didn't find this existing question so wrote my own.

So I read the thread and can follow the way out mentioned in the thread but just asking for curiosity is there any chance this request can be entertained in future ? Actually to our system knowing what account has what users and users have what permissions is so important at account listing level. Its actually possible in Facebook so was wondering could get something similar while listing accounts.

However many thanks for instant reply,

Regards,

-Ahsan
