Users see my client's search-responsive ad, click "Get location details"
(instead of the headline), and book an appointment with my client via the
WhatsApp link on their Google My Business profile. It's a healthcare
business, so the conversions that happen on the Google My Business profile
don't show up on Google Ads. We only get a small number of clicks on this
ad per day, but the clients that come from it bring us a lot of revenue.
I would like to upload lead conversions and converted lead conversions with
revenue. The problem is that when I query the API to get the GCLIDs for a
particular day with click_view, I mostly get a GCLID like this:
Cj4KCQjwhMq-BhCFARItAGvo0Kf4pZTC53_w_7zS-0JxLEyGniXG3CJt-utSAOrzYM9rp1VrLl2NZR9xGgJPVxAC8P8HAQ
I've uploaded a click conversion to Google Ads with this GCLID above with
no errors with debug enabled, but the conversion doesn't count on the
Google Ads UI. And I can't decode this GCLID with
https://www.pemavor.com/solution/gclid-decoder/ to get the timestamp.
Conversions with GCLIDs like this that come from a LOCATION_EXPANSION click
I can upload without any problems and they count on Google Ads UI and I can
decode them to get the timestamp:
EAIaIQobChMIk-TUkLmHjAMV6FRIAB1KVQcPEAAYASABEgJ7JvD_BwE
I would like to know if there is a way to upload a click conversion with
the first GCLID type. I doubt it exists, but it's worth a try. Thanks for
your time.

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.
Could you please confirm whether you are uploading the conversions via the Google Ads API? If yes, I would recommend you refer to the document Upload Click Conversions to get more information on how to upload click conversions via the Google Ads API. You can upload enhanced conversions for leads without having captured GCLIDs. Also, you need to follow the instructions to confirm autotagging is enabled. Set up your Google Ads account, website, and lead-tracking system to capture and store the GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID of each impression and click for your ads. Autotagging is turned on by default for new accounts.
In order to assist you further, could you please share the conversion action name or the conversion action ID of the conversion actions that you are unable to view in the Google Ads UI even after uploading it via the API along with the Google Ads account ID of the uploaded conversions.
You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.
Thanks,
Google Ads API Team

Did you finally found an option to target 'parents of infants' as part of
detailed_demographic in a search campaign via API? Just as your screenshot
shows, it is possible in the UI: But it seems not to be possible via API.

Hi,
I would recommend you please use the below given GAQL query to retrieve the data of the field 'parents of infants' from the detailed_demographic report via the Google Ads API:
SELECT detailed_demographic.id, detailed_demographic.name
FROM detailed_demographic WHERE detailed_demographic.name LIKE 'Parents of infants'
You can use Query Validator to validate your query, then you can try making a request using the Method:customers.googleAds.search or Method:customers.googleAds.searchStream.
If you still need any further assistance, I request you kindly share the uncropped UI screenshot by highlighting the fields that you are trying to retrieve from the detailed_demographic report via the Google Ads API.
You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.
Thanks,

Hi,
Please be informed that I have removed your response from the forums as it contains the PII information.
It is not possible to retrieve data from those two campaigns in an aggregated, grouped, or summed format by day, as shown in the Looker report you shared. When using the campaign report, we apply filters on both the date and campaign name in the 'WHERE' clause. As a result, the data is retrieved separately for each campaign and segmented by date. Therefore, you cannot obtain a report that combines both campaigns' data while keeping it segmented by date. However, we were able to retrieve the data as per your screenshot from the Google Ads API using the campaign resource which will retrieve the results separately for each campaign. However, I am sharing with you the sample GAQL query:
SELECT campaign.name, metrics.impressions, metrics.ctr, segments.date,
campaign.resource_name FROM campaign WHERE campaign.name LIKE '%DESTINO%' AND
segments.date BETWEEN '2025-03-01' AND '2025-03-11'
Note that this query will fetch both the campaigns data individually which are segmented by date.
Thanks,
Google Ads API Team

Thank you for the response.
This query is the same one I previously indicated.
I would like to understand how the Google Ads UI manages to aggregate the
data from these two campaigns by day?

Dear Google Ads API Support Team,
I would like to clarify whether it is possible to retrieve past performance
data via the API for an account with CLOSED status (Indicates a closed
account unable to serve ads. Test account will also have CLOSED status.
Status is permanent and may not be reopened.).
If retrieving past performance data via the API is not possible, can this
data still be accessed through the Google Ads UI? Additionally, how long is
past performance data retained and accessible for CLOSED accounts?
Thank you for your support. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
LoanHo

Hi,
Just wanted to confirm if the support team reached out. Since it has been a

Then, when registering a keyword with the same keyword name using *mutate
create*, the *finalUrl* appears to be changed. However, in the UI, the
first (0th) URL is displayed. In this case, I would like to know whether
the change has actually been applied.
1. create keyword (FINALURL) : *https://ads.google.com *create
[image: CREATE_KEYWORD_before.PNG]
2. same keyword (FINALURL) create : *https://ads.google.com/test2* change
[image: create_변경내역2.PNG]
api response
[image: finalUrl_response.PNG]
The change history shows that it has been modified. Should it be considered
that the second URL has been applied?

Hi,
To assist you further, could you please provide us with complete API logs (request and response logs with request-id and request header) generated at your end.
If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.
Thanks,
Google Ads API Team
