How to create a test account

Hey everyone.

We're trying to create a "test client account" under the "test manager account" as mentioned in the documentation: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/first-call/overview#test_account

We are able to see the test account label in our "test manager account", but when we create the test account, this is not nested under the manager account; and the test account label doesn´t appear.

Is there anything we're doing wrong?

Hi Matthieu,

After creating a test client account within a test manager account, you should find the test client account under that manager. However, as this forum is dedicated to API related inquiries, I recommend reaching out to product support for this UI specific issue.

I work with Matt and let me provide support to your concern.

Could you provide further details on "but i cannot fake data to visualize ads campaign"? If you are referring on creating specific entities on Google Ads account using Google Ads API / AdWords API, then let me know so I can direct you to the specific document on how to do so.

Also, if what you are trying to 'visualize' is the performances of your ads, then this would not be possible with test accounts since entities created under a test account does not generate performance metrics.
