MCC Customer ID vs. Child Customer ID

Hi there,

We currently have an application configured to pass in URLs at the KW level for a certain child account.  I am wondering if it is possible to input the client ID for the entire MCC account rather than just the child account, and be able to pass URLS at the KW level for the entire MCC within specifying what account it belongs to each time.  The inputs we use to assign the URLs to KWs are adgroup ID and keywordID.  In short, in order to assign URLs to KWs do we need to specify child account to which the KWs belong each time?

I know this could be tested simply by switching the ID and trying it, but the developer I'm currently working with is out and I'm working on a contingency plan in case this isn't possible.

Hi,

Updating a certain keyword by setting only its ad group Id and keyword Id (without specifying a child account CID) is currently not possible in AdWords API, as the request will check for the given keyword Id and ad group Id from the specified child account.
