GOOGLE Ads API empty result returned when quering ad_group_audience_view

hi team,

am trying to query ad_group_audience_view like below :

SELECT campaign.id, campaign.name, ad_group.id, ad_group.name, ad_group_criterion.display_name, ad_group_criterion.criterion_id, ad_group_criterion.type, metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks, metrics.conversions, metrics.conversions_value, metrics.cost_micros, segments.ad_network_type ,segments.date  FROM ad_group_audience_view WHERE segments.date BETWEEN '2023-04-01' AND '2023-04-02'

 the above query return empty result , but when i remove segements.ad_network_type and segments.date and getting result with date .

can you please let me know what is issue here , and how i can fix it ?

Thanks for reaching out to Google Ads API Support.

I see that you have issues regarding ad_group_audience_view reports in Google Ads API. I impersonated the query you sent and its valid and pulling data. 

Please note that, when adding some segments, the metrics in the summary row may decrease. When segments.keyword.info.match_type is added to a query with FROM ad_group_ad, that segment is telling the query to only get the rows of data that have keywords, and remove any row that is not associated with a keyword. In this case, the metrics would be lower because it would exclude any non-keyword metrics.

That being said, can you provide the complete request and response logs with request ID generated as shown in the respective links? We do this to check if there’s an error thrown on your side and we can further investigate. 

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.
