Get suspended accounts with v12

Hi there I'm trying to get suspended accounts using Google Ads v12 version, but it is returning 0 records even though suspended accounts are there in Google Ads UI. 
can you please help.

SELECT customer_client.status, customer_client.id, customer_client.descriptive_name FROM customer_client WHERE customer_client.status = 'SUSPENDED'

Kindly note that in reporting, client accounts are generally what is used in the Google Ads API reports as it is on these accounts where statistics are associated.
