Maximize Conversions to display

to Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum

I saw on the documentation that the bid strategy maximize_conversions is only applied to campaign of type DISPLAY. but when you create campaigns from the UI it can attach this bid strategy type to the campaign for example

customers/2617818525/campaigns/17623257249

So I want to know how can I implement this settings through the API

Regarding your statement "I saw on the documentation that the bid strategy maximize_conversions is only applied to campaign of type DISPLAY.", can you please provide a link to where this is documented? Also, can you provide a UI screenshot of of the campaign that you are referring to which shows its bidding strategy for our reference?
