AdWords production API access issues.

Hi All,

I have created a Manager account and got MCC ID XXX-XXX-XXXX and developer token as well.

Also,

1 .Created Client ID,

2. Secret ID

3. Auto refresh, Auth. ID and access tokens as well using the below links.

https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials

Now the problem here is, while I'm requesting the API I'm getting the below as response.

“AdWordsApiException: Exception of type 'Google.Api.Ads.AdWords.Lib.AdWordsApiException' was thrown.

Developer token is not approved for production access, and the customer is attempting to access a production account.. (Error: QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED, FieldPath: , Trigger: <null>)”

Kindly suggest if developer token only pending at Google or any other reasons.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. You encountered the DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error as your developer token with Test access was not approved to upgrade to Basic access level. Please use the developer token associated with the MCC account that holds the Basic access to make API calls.
