Difference in MaxCPC between the Keyword Performance Report and the Change History

Hello everyone,

I can observe differences between the MaxCPC I get in the Keyword Performance Report I downloaded through the API, and the values I get in the Change History interface on Adwords.

For example, there is one Keyword which, according to the Performance Report, had a MaxCPC of 0.16 on the 31th of July, while the Change History interface says that its CPC changed from 0.97 to 0.47 on that same day.

I retrieved all the performance reports by date for a one year period on the same day, so I was wondering if, for example, the MaxCPC I got where not the MaxCPC of the day I retrieved the reports, and not the MaxCPC of the day from which I needed the performances (the 31th of July).

Do anybody has a similar problem?

Hi Victor,

The CpcBid field in Keywords Performance Report is of type attribute, which means that the value returned will always reflect the current Max CPC for the Keyword, ignoring the timespan of the report. I hope this helps in clarifying the difference between the values returned in the Keywords Performance Report and the Change history.
