I was trying to download data with multiple levels and i got issue like cannot make request data of manager account. You need to make request with child account with login customer id as manager account

I better descibe using the ids. The ids mentioned are just random ids

Mail : test@email
Main Account : 1234
child account : 56
7
8
9
10

So as per the logic we can request data of a non manager account and for that we should provide that account id and the manager id of that as logincustomerid

So here we expect 4 calls

7 with login customer id 56
8 with login customer id 56
9 with login customer id 56
10 with login customer id 56

And if we have all permissions and the code works well we were able to download the data of  7, 8, 9 and 10

Dought :
Here for the last level the login customer id will be always the immediate parent right? I mean for 7 the login customer id will be always 56 right. I mean if we have child account the parent will be always manager right or is there any chance that the manager of 7 will be 1234. I am not talking specifically about this hierarachy but in general is there any chance the manager of the account is not immediate parent and manager is some account in the higher level

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Could you please confirm if you are using the Google Ads API to download the data of the customers? If yes, please share the complete API logs (requestresponserequest-id and request header) generated on your device for the issues that you are facing while downloading the data via the API.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java.NetPHPPythonRuby or Perl to enable logging at your end. You can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag for REST interface requests.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.
