user list remove query

Hi,

I need to understand when the user list removal operation fails. From the UI, removal fails under the following scenario - 

• In-use lists (meaning it gets used in the campaign)

I tried to remove a user list that was associated with an enabled campaign. And I was able to remove the in-use user list. I need to understand why that happened? Also, I need to understand the error which gets raised when in-use user list removal operation is triggered.

• used to generate in-use lists
