Shopping Campaign - Upon deletion Product Groups returning 0s via the API for historical data (differing from AdWords UI)

Hi Guys,

We are seeing some inconsistent numbers between our inhouse reporting tool, and the AdWords UI. I have pinpointed what appears to be the issue. Let's say a Product Group was deleted on Dec 11:
AdWords UI will continue to show the metrics e.g. cost, for that product group, leading up to the time it was deleted
The Criteria Performance Report returned via the API instead returns 0s for all historical data for the same product group

Is this intended behaviour? And is there a way in which we can still access the historical data for a deleted product group via the API e.g. does the Shopping Performance Report behave differently?

To clarify, the metric we are specifically focused on, where there is a mismatch between AdWords UI and Criteria Performance Report, is Cost.

Hi Chris,

You could use the Shopping Performance Report to get the historical data at the product level (Offer Id). Please check out Shopping Performance Report document for more details.   
Could you provide me privately the clientCustomerId and Criteria Performance Report request (where Cost report field returns 0)? Just click Reply privately to author in the forum when responding. Don't forget to remove the developer token in the output.
