Using adwords-axis to download report from adWords account

to Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum

Our system is currently using adwords-axis library to download report for our customers who want to query the Ads data.

Our code is using:

AdWordsServices to get the customers

for each customer we get the AdWordsSession

and then use the ReportDownloader to download the session report.

Are those APIs going to be broken due to the sunset of AdWords API?

If yes can you suggest what is the new API we should use to download Adwords report ?

Hi,

Thank you for raising your concern.

The AdWords API has already sunset on April 27, 2022 and all the requests executed with the use of this API will not take effect and will encounter the RequestError.Reason.UNSUPPORTED_VERSION error.

With this, I would suggest migrating to the Google Ads API and you can refer to this blog post to get started with the said API which includes the report.
