Pause campaign trough API

Hi,

When we try to pause campaign, Google Ads API is also changing strategy type to manual_cpc.

Is this normal? Or why when we only change campaign type from Active to Pause, it is effecting Strategy Type?

1) Campaign changed

Bid strategy type was "Manual CPC"

2) Campaign changed

Status changed from active to paused

To take a closer look at the issue, could you provide the following details?

• complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end for pausing the campaign
• the previous bidding strategy type before manual CPC
• Is the change for bidding strategy happened simultaneously with the change in campaign status?
