When a customer follows an Ad on Google and places an order for an item, they make a transaction from a campaign/referral.

My AdWords and Analytics accounts are linked. Now, is there any way to use the AdWords API to pull the transaction ID (or something unique to the order), order total (what the customer spent), date and campaign information?

Or do I have to do this through Analytics? In which case, I'm wondering how I can actually link campaign info.

Basically, I want all the transaction information (Analytics) PLUS the campaign information (AdWords) that the customer followed to place that order.

Hi,

AdWords reports don't include the transaction ID, but one approach you might consider is to use ValueTrack parameters (particularly the ones available for shopping campaigns) in your URLs. If your ads direct to a tracker, then it can capture and record those parameters for further analysis.

Regarding Google Analytics and shopping campaigns, you may want to post on the Content API for Shopping forum to see if anyone has recommendations/ideas for your particular use case.

Thanks,
