Hi,

Is there a rate limit for MCC (and all belonged accounts). e.g., I have MCC account id 101 and manages account id 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004.

If I query 1001 ~ 1003's performance report a lot, is it possible that the limit for entire MCC 101 is reached so I cannot query 1004's performance report?

Thanks.

Hi,

RateExceedErrors are counted on two different scopes, namely for the developer token and for the account rate scopes. For the developer token, if an MCC manages 100 AdWords accounts, and multiple requests have been made to each of those accounts using the same developer token then they are likely to encounter the RateExceedError at the developer token rate scope.

For the account level, if for example a single account is managed by different MCCs and all MCCs are making requests against the same AdWords client account at the same time and their combined queries per second exceeded the limit, then they will receive the RateExceedError in the account rate scope. Please note that this rate scope will be encountered regardless of your access level.

For more information regarding the operational and reporting limits, you may refer to our rate sheet. I hope this has been helpful and please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Best regards,
Peter
