Only getting Impressions for Search ad assets - headline, description

Is the ad_group_ad_asset_view broken ?

I have been trying to query using the following GAQL query however I only get 1 metric back in the  API response - impressions.

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API Forum.

With regard to your concern, could you please confirm if you encountered the said issue in the responsive search ads? If yes then, I can say that this is expected that the ad_group_ad_asset_view will return the impression metric only. This is only the available metrics in the UI as well for the association of responsive search ads and assets.

I am not satisfied with the answer.

I distinctly remember getting some of these metrics at headline/description level a few weeks back.

Impressions are only available in ad_group_ad_asset_combination_view

Thank you for the reply. Could you confirm if the data that you have retrieved before aside from the metric impression field belongs to a responsive search ad or another type of ads? I asked this because as I discussed earlier " I can say that this is expected that the ad_group_ad_asset_view will return the impression metric only. However, so that we can further investigate this, would you be able to provide the screenshot of the Google Ads UI where we can see the information that you want to retrieve using Google Ads API? Also, it can be helpful if you can provide complete API logs request and response logs with request ID and request header that are generated on your end. If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.
