The ability to fetch campaigns from the MCC account

Hello Google Ads API Team, 

We have an MCC (My Client Center) or Manager Accounts and it has several Ad Accounts under it; is there a way to fetch campaign information from any of the child accounts by providing the Manage Accounts ID as the "clientCustomerId" in the API request?

When we tried the above approach we got an empty response; however, the access token used can access campaigns on any of the child accounts individually by providing it's ID as  "clientCustomerId" in the request.

In case this approach doesn't achieve what we aim for; is there another method we should use?

Hi Alex,

 

Thank you for reaching out. If you would like to get information about specific campaigns, you need to set the clientCustomerId to an ID of a client account. Unfortunately, there is no way to do this using a manager account ID. You can get all of the accounts under your MCC account by following this example.
