Hello!

The TargetingIdea Attribute AttributeType.CATEGORY_PRODUCTS_AND_SERVICES sometimes returns IDs that are not defined in productsservices.csv

https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/productsservices.csv seems to be not up to date anymory. The last modification date seems to be September 7th, 2012.

Is it possible to provide the current version of this file for download?

Thanks

Christian

Hi Christian,

Could I trouble you to provide some sample IDs? I think I've found the reason for the inconsistency, but I'll be able to confirm once I have some examples.

Thanks,

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the IDs - they confirmed our theory. Those IDs are for Adult or other sensitive products/categories. There's currently an issue with some of those slipping through and showing up in the response, even if you do not include the IncludeAdultContentSearchParameter in your request.

We're looking into how to address this, but for the time being the recommendation is to simply ignore IDs that are not in the CSV.

Cheers,
Josh, AdWords API Team
