keywords performance report - zero impressions keywords partially missing

Hi everyone,

I've been wrestling with this issue for several weeks and, now beaten and despair, i've come to you.

So, the issue is that there are many keywords missing from the  keyword performance report we receive from the api as oppose to the manually downloaded data of the keywords.

All of the missing rows have zero impressions, clicks, cost, etc.

I've specified to include zero impressions and indeed alot of the rows in the received report does have zero impressions. BUT, its only partial to the complete zero impressions keywords. 

The real problem here for us is that we need the Max cpc bid, even for words for zero impressions. 

I've tried using predicate on different fields to include all available status's etc, but non seems to make a difference. Also tried specifically with a predicate to tell it to include all rows with value bigger or equal to zero, yet no difference. 

Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,

So I can further investigate this, can you provide your clientCustomerId as well as your report definition? If you are comparing the data with the AdWords UI (since you said that you are manually downloading the other keywords report), kindly provide the UI screenshot.

Also, if you can provide sample keywords (with ID or what ad group and campaign it belongs) that were not included in the API report, but you have seen them in the AdWords UI, it would help on the investigation.

I can offer one explanation:

If you delete a keyword in AdWords, it will not be deleted but get a special status REMOVED.
However, if you delete a keyword that never received any impressions, it will be deleted from its group. Yes, that one will disappear. This will not happen instantly but after a while you'll notice its gone.

So, the explanation is that those keywords have zero impressions and were recently deleted. In that case the UI may have different data than the API. However, after a while it should be OK again.
