error:  rpc error: code = PermissionDenied desc = The caller does not have permission

When I use the CustomerService.ListAccessibleCustomers method with my production manager account to list all accounts that I have direct access to, everything works fine until I try to access the detailed information of those accounts, just before accessing the test manager account. However, an error occurs when accessing the test manager account.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

From the provided information, I understand that you are facing the 'PERMISSION_DENIED' error. I would like to inform you that this is an authorization error that usually occurs when the authorized customer does not have access to the operating customer. I would recommend you to specify the login-customer-id in the request as the manager account ID without hyphens to avoid this error.

If you are still facing the same issue, then please provide us the following information for further investigation : If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.
