Creating UACs suddenly stopped working - using googleads/adwords/Python3

I'm using a test account on Google Ads and creating UACs with googleads/adwords/Python3. The campaign creation code I'm using worked just fine roughly 1 month ago but suddenly stopped working - it is basically this piece of code. There are no changes to the code/setup and everything seems fine with my test account.

The UAC creation with the "CampaignService" stops with the message:

googleads.errors.GoogleAdsServerFault: [OperationAccessDenied.OPERATION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_CAMPAIGN_TYPE @ operations[0].operand.settings

The "BudgetService" works/authenticates just fine and is able to create budgets for my campaign.

I have SOAP logs available if needed.

What could cause this?

The example I would be looking for: how to link the ad group (with "UniversalAppAd") to the UAC with the AdWords API/Python?

Thank you for reaching out. 

If what you meant was associating an ad group to campaigns (UAC) upon creation of the ad group, you must specify the campaignId of the UAC you with so associate the ad group into. You may refer to this sample code (also available in different languages) on how to do so.
