I also met this issue, can consistently repro, and login adwords UI has issu says "There was an error with your operation. If you were trying to make a change, it may not have saved.
Please refresh this page to try again.
If the error continues, log out of your AdWords account, then log in again and return to this page."

Hi Doron,

That's great news! Glad to hear that it's working again at your end. I had to If the issue persists, please let us know. Also, please avoid sending your entire SOAP request and response as it may contain sensitive information regarding your account. You may refer to our forum posting guidelines for future posts.

Hi Caihua,

Could you confirm if you are still experiencing this error? If yes, kindly create a new thread and we can continue our discussion from there.

Hi Dongliang,

If you are experiencing the issue via the AdWords UI, I would recommend that you get in touch with their team via the AdWords Community Forum as they are more equipped to handle your concern.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi Perter,

Thanks for your reply. The issue has been resolved from our end, and we are working well now. Just wondering if this is an accident from AdWords side or? We are depending on the CustomerService heavily, and I hope there is no change in this service in the short term. If there is any planned changes to this service, please let us know.

Thank you very much.
Caihua.

Hi Caihua,

I would not be able to determine the exact cause of the RequestError.UNKNOWN right now. To do so, I would require the complete SOAP request and response as it usually provides a more in depth detail as to which caused the error. Should you encounter the issue once again, you may create a new thread or reply privately to me via the Reply privately to author in order to avoid exposing sensitive information pertaining to your account.

I didn't encounter this issue again, but yesterday's incident last at least 2 hours, which is really abnormal. I thought AdWords team already knew about this outage. Anyways, I will provide the SOAP request / response to you separately to you and hope we can get some details of this failure.

Thanks,
Caihua.

Greetings AdWordsians!

Thank you for providing all the additional information. You're right that it is unusual for something like this to happen. We're not planning on any changes, so I'm surprised by this. On my end, I'm making sure we do an investigation to make sure we understand the root cause so you don't end up with another disruption.

Best,
Nadine, AdWords API Team
