"App" and "Local" type campaigns not coming in Geo performance report

Hi All,

We have created a Geo performance report for a client to get the metrics like impressions, clicks etc based on location. Everything else is working fine but we noticed that we are not 

getting data for campaigns whose type are either 'local' or 'app' ( E.g targeted at IOS, android devices). 

We have looked through the documents to check whether there are any predicates which might help here but so far couldn't find anything. Kindly provide a solution.

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, those two campaign types aren't supported in AdWords API. See here for the supported campaign types,

I'm having issues in which some of my geo reports are also coming in empty while others aren't while looping through all Customer IDs in my organization. 

I manage reporting for several accounts and this type of breakdown is a requirement for all campaigns. 

What is the solution or workaround here? 

Should we be moving to Google Ads API if we need this type of breakdown? Why are some campaigns allowed to be geo filtered and others not? I actually can get campaign summary stats without issues, just doesn't seem to work for geo?

Thank you for reaching out. Can you please provide the client customer IDs of the accounts that are having the issue via reply privately to author? Additionally, please provide the complete report definition so that I can further investigate the issue.
