Keyword Planner to pull high volume keywords suggestions?

Hello,

I am trying to understand if there is a keyword planner API in AdWords. In sum, the goal would be to build a tool that plugs into the keyword planner to pull high volume keyword suggestions for headline and news stories.

Does something like this exist?

Hello,

We have two separate services in the AdWords API, TargetingIdeaService (guide) and TrafficEstimatorService (guide), that encompass the keyword planner from the UI.
